Are Succulents Safe For Hamsters?

cute, orange haired, hamster

I’ve spent countless hours trying to find out if succulents are safe for hamsters. There seems to be a lot of confusion surrounding which are safe, this is mainly down to there being little research into the fact.

So, are succulents safe for hamsters? The truth is, nobody truly knows whether all succulents are safe as there are so many different types, but there are some plants that are known to be safe for hamsters.

Ideally you shouldn’t put anything in your hamsters cage that you’re not 100% sure is safe for them.

Another thing to factor in, do they really like the plant? What’s pleasing for us, might not be so pleasing for them so whenever you’re adding something new to their home make sure you monitor them closely to see how they react.
